The Ministry of Retreat
The ministry of a retreat may be the best way to impact children, teens and adults in your church or organization. Powerful life change can happen when we leave the normal routine of life, focus on God's truth without distraction and see Christian principles lived in the context of shared life. Jesus would often retreat with his disciples to find solitude and rest; or to accomplish specific ministry purposes. We would be wise to follow his example.
Streamside Camp and Conference Center can be your place to retreat. Dates for camps and retreats are available from early August through mid-June. Our desire is to provide a quality retreat facility and service-oriented staff whose purpose is helping you acheive your ministry goals.
Streamside is located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of eastern Pennsylvania less than two hours from New York City and Philadelphia. Our facilities can accomodate a maximum of 278 people in dormitory-style cabins. Each cabin, with its own charm and character, has an indoor restroom and is well heated for the colder months. Fully furnished semi-private guestrooms, complete with bedding and linens, are also available for guest speakers, leaders or families.
Three meeting rooms of various sizes are available to accomodate groups of any size and can be equiped with sound, video and whiteboard. On-site activities include archery, volleyball, basketball, athletic field, boating, fishing, outdoor pool (Memorial Day to Labor Day), campfires, hayrides, hiking, mountain climb, playgrounds, snow tubing (January - March), and low rope initiatives.

“Thank you so much for taking such good care of us this weekend. You were all very accomodating. Everyone was upbeat and joyous. The food was great and the cabins were really comfortable. We had a great time with all of you and definitely plan on coming back in the future.”
